Be among the first to visit the new, expanded Whimsical Wings Farm located in Anson County, NC. School and other educational groups should contact us to sign up for updates as we approach our grand opening. Groups of 20 or more are served by appointment only. Please note, only a select few tour requests will be accepted in Spring 2025.
Perfect for Field Trips and School Groups
An exciting educational experience for children and students of all ages. Learn about all stages of the butterfly lifecycle, from eggs to caterpillar, chrysalis to butterfly. $6 per person, children under two are admitted free of charge.
Enjoy Hands-On Learning
Tour the flight house where you get an up-close look at our butterflies by coaching them to land on your hand-held sugar pad.
Make a Day of It
Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the beauty of the farm at our picnic tables before heading home.
Bring the Beauty of Butterflies Home
We offer a limited selection of milkweed plants, the only host plant for the Monarch caterpillar. Take one home for your garden and become part of the Monarch movement!
